Best Reg Company abbreviated Best Reg Co. and bestreg.co are trading names of Cars GT Ltd, registered in England and Wales, registration number 11478083 and whose registered office address is at 1 The Oaks, Mill Farm Courtyard, Beachampton, Milton Keynes, England, MK19 6DS.
DVLA is a registered trade mark of the Driver & Vehicle Licensing Agency. Best Reg Co. is not affiliated to the DVLA or DVLA Personalised Registrations. Cars GT Ltd is a recognised reseller of DVLA registrations. All product names, logos, and brands are property of their respective owners.
Definitions
Throughout the Site, the terms “we”, “us” or “our” shall refer to Cars GT Ltd (Best Reg Co.). The terms “you”, “your”, “user” or “customer” shall refer to any individual or entity who accepts this Agreement, has access to an account on bestreg.co or uses our Services. Nothing in this Agreement shall be deemed to confer any third-party rights or benefits. Cars GT Ltd offers this website and apps, including all information, tools and Services made available to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated herein.
“Terms of Service” means the Policy, our applicable Terms and Conditions (consumer terms and trader terms), our Privacy Policy and our end-user licence agreement (and Terms of Business shall have the same meaning).
“Policy” means this acceptable use policy, our Terms and Conditions.
“Site” means the following website – bestreg.co and all associated web pages and mobile applications (and website shall have the same meaning).
“Submission” means any text, images, video, audio or other multimedia content, software or other information or material submitted by you or other users to the Site.
“Service” means any applications, tools or products available at the following website: bestreg.co and all associated web pages and mobile applications (and services, tool, tools, product or products shall have the same meaning).
“We” means Cars GT Limited, trading as Best Reg Company abbreviated Best Reg Co. (bestreg.co), company registration number 11478083 and whose registered office is at 1 The Oaks, Mill Farm Courtyard, Beachampton, Milton Keynes, England, MK19 6DS (and us or our shall have the same meaning).
“Registration” means any applications, tools or products available at the following website: bestreg.co and all associated web pages and mobile applications (and registrations, registration mark, reg, cherished plate, private plate, personalised number plate or number plate shall have the same meaning).
“DVLA” means the Driver & Vehicle Licensing Agency.
“You” means the person accessing or using the Site or its content (and your, user or customer shall have the same meaning).
“Seller” means You the third party person or entity advertising or listing a registration or item for sale on the Site (and trader, dealer shall have the same meaning).
“Buyer” means You the third party person or entity interested in acquiring an item listed on the Site (and trader, dealer shall have the same meaning).
These terms apply to all users of the Site, our Apps and Services including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/or contributors of content. Nothing in this Agreement shall be deemed to confer any third party rights or benefits. We offer this website and Apps, including all information, tools and Services made available to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated herein.
By using our Site and Services, you are agreeing to be bound by the following terms. Please read them carefully.

Account
You may require a Cars GT or Best Reg Co. user Account in order to use some of our Services. You may create your own user Account when you sign up on our Site or Apps, or when you purchase goods or Services through our Site.
To protect your Account, set a strong password and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for the activity that happens on or through your Account. Try not to reuse your Account password on third-party applications. If you learn of any unauthorised use of your password or user Account, contact us immediately providing us your username or email address used to create your Account.
If you are registering an account as a business entity or on behalf of a business entity, you represent that you have the authority to legally bind that entity. If you are trading as a business on bestreg.co, you must comply with all applicable laws relating to online trading and selling in the UK.
You agree that we will commence supplying our Services to you as soon as you accept this User Agreement. You can cancel this User Agreement under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. We may recoup the cost of any Services provided up to the point of cancellation.
We may cancel unconfirmed accounts or accounts that have been inactive for a long time or modify or discontinue our Services.
Using our Services
You must follow any policies made available to you within our Services.
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use our Website in order for you to list, browse and communicate with sellers and buyers of DVLA issued number plates, and purchase related products and Services through our Website, strictly in accordance with our Legal Terms.
Don’t misuse our Services. Misuse of our Site or Services for example, interfering with our Services or accessing them using a method other than the interface and the instructions that we provide is strictly forbidden. You may use our Services only as permitted by law. We may suspend or stop providing our Services to you if you do not comply with our terms or policies or if we are investigating suspected misconduct.
In addition to other prohibitions as set forth in the Terms of Service, you are prohibited from using our Site or Services
- if you are not able to form legally binding contracts (for example if you are under 18), or are temporarily or indefinitely suspended from using our Services
- to manipulate the price of or interfere with any other user’s listings
- to submit false, inaccurate, misleading, defamatory, or libellous content
- transfer your Best Reg Company account and user ID to another party without our consent
- distribute or post spam, unsolicited or bulk electronic communications, chain letters, or pyramid schemes
- to infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of others.
- to harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, slander, disparage, intimidate, or discriminate based on gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, race, age, national origin, or disability.
- to upload or transmit viruses or any other type of malicious code that will or may be used in any way that will affect the functionality or operation of the Service or of any related website, other websites, or the Internet.
- to collect or track the personal information of others.
- use the contact information of other users for any purpose other than in relation to a specific Best Reg Company transaction on https://bestreg.co (which includes using this information to send marketing materials directly to Best Reg Company users unless the user has given explicit consent to receiving these materials)
- to spam, phish, pharm, pretext, spider, crawl, or scrape.
- to bypass our robot exclusion headers, interfere with the working of our Services, or impose an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our infrastructure
- for any obscene or immoral purpose.
- to commercialise any Best Reg Co. application or any information or software associated with such application
- to harvest or otherwise collect information about users, such as email addresses without their consent or
- to interfere with or circumvent the security features of the Service or any related website, other websites, or the Internet.
We reserve the right to vary or terminate your use of all or part of our Services and/or not provide all or part of our Services to anyone for any reason and/or period of time, at our discretion.
You understand that your content (not including credit card information), may be transferred unencrypted and involve (a) transmissions over various networks; and (b) changes to conform and adapt to technical requirements of connecting networks or devices. Credit card information is always encrypted during transfer over networks.
You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Service, use of the Service, or access to the Service or any contact on the website through which the service is provided, without express written permission by Us.
By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence.
You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorised purpose nor may you, in the use of the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws). You must not transmit any worms or viruses or any code of a destructive nature.
A breach or violation of any of the Terms will result in an immediate termination of your Services.
Some of our Services are available on mobile devices. Do not use such Services in a way that distracts you and prevents you from obeying traffic or safety laws.

Online store
We generally store information about you for as long as we need the information to do the activities we told you about, and we are not legally required to continue to keep it. For example, we will store order information for 6 years for tax and accounting purposes. This includes your name, email address, billing and shipping addresses.
For users that register on our website, we store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

Selling and buying number plates
We make this site available for United Kingdom residents over the age of 18 only.
Vehicle registration numbers (number plates) are a way of identifying vehicles and are owned by the Secretary of State. They are allocated to vehicles as part of the process of registering and taxing vehicles.
Please be aware that a seller of a number plate may only sell the exclusive rights to use the number plate as allowed by the DVLA, and not ownership which remains with The Secretary of State.
All registrations and transfer of registrations remain at all times subject to DVLA and government approval. The Secretary of State has rights to cancel a registration at any time without compensation.
Unless otherwise stated, We do not sell or make available the registrations listed on this Site and therefore disavow, and are free from, all liabilities regarding any registration in question.
Buyers and sellers are entering into a contract when they complete transactions on Best Reg Co. It is the sole responsibility of the Seller to ensure that the correct details are submitted and displayed when listing a registration on Best Reg Co. We will not be held responsible for any losses as a result of mistakes, errors or incorrect information provided in a listing.
We do not endorse any Seller or Buyer using our Services. It is the sole responsibility of the Buyer and Seller to verify any information that is provided in a listing or via communication on and off Best Reg Co.
You may only use our Services to advertise or list a Registration that you hold the assignment rights to or have been granted explicit permission to sell or advertise by the rights holder. The registration can either be on a vehicle you or the rights holder own or are the registered keeper; a V750 Certificate of Entitlement or V778 Retention Document you or the rights holder are in possession of and are the purchaser, grantee or nominee.
Registrations advertised must not be spaced incorrectly or misrepresented and must be correctly displayed (as well as in images) and are listed on the understanding that they will be displayed as set out in the Road Vehicles (Display of Registration Marks) Regulations 2001.
Sellers should provide a clear and accurate description and any Terms of Sale, and are required to meet the expectations they have set in their listings. These should include:
- Displaying the registration as set out in the Road Vehicles (Display of Registration Marks) Regulations 2001
- Displaying the current status of a registration
- Clearly stating if the registration is non-transferable
- Displaying the maximum vehicle age requirements for age-related registrations
- The forms of payment accepted and how the transfer of the registration will be fulfilled
- Clearly stated taxes or applicable government-imposed fees
- Have the registration in inventory or have an existing agreement with a 3rd party to fulfil the transfer of the registration under the terms of the listing
Activity that doesn’t follow our policy could result in a range of actions including for example: administratively ending or cancelling listings, hiding or demoting all listings from search results, buying or selling restrictions, and account suspension. All fees paid or payable in relation to listings or accounts on which we take any action will not be refunded or otherwise credited to your account.
You may amend any details of your listing once submitted except the registration itself. If you need to amend the registration due to an error, you may delete the registration from your account and create a new listing with any of your available packages, or Contact Us for assistance.
Registrations supplied on a V750 Certificate of Entitlement or V778 Retention Certificate will need to be transferred to a vehicle before the expiry date on the certificate or renewed directly with the DVLA.
You will permanently lose the right to use the number if you do not renew it before the expiry date. DVLA will not accept applications made after the expiry date.
It is the sole responsibility of the Purchaser to ensure that the correct details are submitted when advertising a registration mark online. The Company cannot be held responsible for any mistakes or errors.

We do not take a commission or percentage of the sale price. We may change our fees, or introduce new fees from time to time by posting the changes on the Best Reg Company site 30 days in advance. You may close your account or cancel any active subscriptions without penalty within 30 days of such notice being given.

Vehicle status information
The vehicle Tax, MOT and SORN status information we provide you on number plate listing pages is strictly for your personal use only and is not to be relied upon or otherwise used by any third party. No such change will have retrospective effect. Our Services do not provide any information regarding the roadworthiness or general condition of any vehicle related to a listed number plate.
